| Roller lifters are a big step up in reducing engine friction. When combined with a roller cam, this setup is ideal for many street and race engines. Reducing friction with roller lifters builds more power. Roller lifters can only be used with roller style cams. Roller cam lobe profiles are more oval like the Indianapolis Raceway, rather than egg shaped like flat tappet cam lobes. |  |
