Control rear end torque with a pinion snubber from JEGS. If you don't have a ladder bar or 4 link set-up, you can use a pinion snubber at the track. When you launch off the line, your rear end will torque upward at the pinion yoke. This changes the angle of the rear end and drive shaft which can cause problems and lost torque. Pinion snubbers hold the rear housing from torquing upwards. They are easy to install and well worth the minor cost.
