Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid No Welding Solution With my first wide band A/F gauge install I had the bung welded in. Not owning a welder meant I had to rent one, etc. At the end of the day installed successfully. Now with this wide band A/F gauge install on a different car I decided to try this solution instead. Definitely a winner! The band give you lots of sizing and fitting options to work around your pipe. Just drill your hole with a stepper bit until it is big enough to fit your sensor in. Clean your pipe, apply the gasket, tighten up, screw in your sensor and you are done! Note: My pipe was old and dirty. The gaskets did not stick to it entirely but I tightened up the clamp around it anyway and there are no leaks. Success!
