AEM 30-3000 - AEM Water/Methanol Injection Kit

AEM Water/Methanol Injection Kits reduce air inlet temperatures, which allows boost pressure increase (or timing advance on forced induction gas vehicles) for more power utilizing the system's cooling effects under heavy load. The kit is available with a 1-gallon tank for race cars, a 5-gallon tank for diesel or long-range race cars, or no tank for customization. Kits include other parts needed for successful installation: fluid level sensor, recirculation-style pump, controller & hardware.

How It Works
A boost-dependent, variable-flow progressive controller allows the user to determine the amount of water/methanol mixture (up to 50%) to feed the inlet stream from the fluid reservoir. The controller commands a high-pressure 150 psi recirculation pump to deliver the mixture. Flow adjustments at the inlet are made via one of three included jets designed to match most engine power requirements.

Recirculation-Style Pump
AEM's recirculation-style pump offers improved performance and reliability and smoother, quieter operation compared to older pumps. With a new internal bypass design, this upgraded pump eliminates erratic on/off switching/pulsing and ensures consistent fluid delivery for optimal performance. The pump has a Santoprene diaphragm and EPDM seals to withstand the harshest of alcohol mixes.

Boost Safe!
AEM's controller features Boost Safe so the user can reduce boost or retard timing via ground output if the system is drained of fluid or detects an error. Additional safety precautions to ensure fail-safe operation include a fluid level sensor, controller diagnostics, and LED dash light to warn of low fluid or other error codes.
