By installing an aftermarket Mustang K-member, brakes, A-arms, and struts, total front suspension weight can be reduced over 140 pounds. Tubular K-members are designed to increase strength while improving header and oil pan clearance (2.5" in A-arm area). They also decrease front end weight of car (34 pounds less than a factory K-member). Powdercoated Mustang K-members accept factory A-arms and springs (bolt-on perches sold separately).
