This short block is designed to be a strong foundation for high horsepower street/strip engine builds.
Block Information:
- 2003-2008 Seasoned OE HEMI with ARM main studs
- Bore/Stroke: 3.927" x 4.050"
- Displacement: 392ci
- Camshaft Bearings: Dura-Bond, installed and clocked to OEM position
- Freeze Plugs: Brass, installed and sealed
- Oil Galley Plugs: Installed and sealed
Rotating Assembly:
- Crankshaft: Scat 4340 forged
- Balance: Internally
- Rods: Scat 4340 forged H beam 6.125" with ARP 2000 bolts
- Compression Ratio: 81cc= 9.8:1 / 85cc= 9.4:1 / 89cc= 9.1:1
- Pistons: Forged flat top -2cc
- Rings: Plasmamoly with steel top ring gapped for boost/nitrous
Recommended Components:
- Balancer: Internal balance
- Flexplate/Flywheel: Internal balance
- Head Gasket: .045" thickness or per application
- Oil: 5W/20 Non syntheitc for first 3000 miles
- Oil Filter: Wix or K&N per application

ATK's Boost/Nitrous short blocks are meant for engines running these setups. Bearing clearances and ring gaps have been taken into consideration for this series of short blocks.
