A dwell control circuit ensures long, consistent coil charging and a current control circuit protects against coil overheating. These modules resist false triggering from the RFI of high output coils. Made In U.S.A.!

    Ford Thick Film Ingnition (TFI) coverage includes both modulators mounted on the distributor and remote mount applications.

    GM coverage includes HEI 4-Pin, Computer Controlled 7-pin and remote coil mount 8-pin applications.

    Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Quality Control I ultimately had to return this TFI module for a full refund because it was defective out of the package. I installed this to eliminate the hard starts when hot trouble I was having with my 1986 Mercury Capri RS. Unfortunately, things went from bad to worse. The car would crank fine. But, it wouldn't idle or run. I was highly disappointed. Poor QC on the part of Accel. However, the return policy with JEGS is great. The customer service rep was polite and immediately provided me with free return shipping to expedite my refund.
