Shock absorbers are the ''brains'' of any suspension system. That is why you see NASCAR teams take 3 sets of springs and 20 sets of shocks to the racetrack!

Because of its unique compression and rebound qualities, an air ride suspension requires a bit different valving to produce the best ride possible. We select a shock absorber that will match your application as close as possible.

There are upgrades available that allow you to tune in that last bit of potential ride quality. On heavy vehicles such as 50's and 60's cars and late model trucks, especially in the front, a KYB shock offers more ride control. On the rear of nearly all vehicles, the standard Monroe shock offers the best ride.

The KYB shock is a firmer shock that is well suited for heavier vehicles, especially in the front. They provide greater control to eliminate bounce and roll and are of a monotube high pressure construction to minimize fade. These units are provided as standard equipment in some of our systems for heavier vehicles.
