These replacement temperature sensors are designed for use with AutoMeter gauges produced prior to 1995 which are visually identifed by their light blue case and a distinctive black mask on the lens covering the pointer hubs. I done a 5.3 vortec swap into my 1982 c30 pickup and I need a one wire temp sensor to be able to hook up my factory gauge. The vortec max temp is 260 on the 2000 Chevrolet donor truck so which sender do you recommend?
