Aluma-Fit Bumpers are finely crafted from aluminum for a superior fit and finish. They fit as well as steel reproductions yet weigh a lot less. Once painted, no one knows this premium high-strength aluminum sheet metal isn't steel. Strong and lasting, bumpers are anodized or feature Electro Deposit Coating (EDP). To cover all surfaces, parts are dipped in EDP, which uses positive and negative charges. The same coating is used on new Chrysler and GM parts. EDP can be left as is unless welding is required then it has to be removed from the weld areas.
