Stud girdles will strengthen the weak link in the valve train. While under a tremendous amount of load, the flexing of the studs may cause loss of horsepower or engine failure. B&B's stud girdles require less adjustment of valve lash and provide enhanced rigidity and strength. Requires the use of tall valve covers.
