    Rated 3 out of 5 by from Problems on the 2011 Grand Cherokee The pan came well packaged and looked good. Installation is rather straightforward except for some key points where B&M should have done better. First is the forward passenger pan retainer. The factory retainer has a second threaded hole for mounting an electrical cover plate which this kit does not provide for. I modified the factory retainer to make it work. Second, the hole for the drain plug was not tapped well requiring work to clean it up. Last and most importantly is the fit. The pan is about an inch too deep on the leading edge. This causes fit issues wit the factory transmission rock guard/plastic shield. The shield can be forced into position but would chafe the pan or it can be stood off with bushings or old nuts. A slight taper on the front of the pan would have accounted for this in the design. I question if an aftermarket shield will fit any better. I have not towed anything yet. So far I have only noted about a 5 degree drop in transmission temperature on the EVIC driving my daily route. The fit and results do not justify the price for me.
