Serious racers know that a major key to E.T. consistency and performance is transmission fluid temperature. The transmission fluid is the only component that is actually driving the vehicle. For more then 50 years B&M has dedicated it's engineering expertise at building racing converters and components to help minimize and control the heat generated with high stall race converter applications. B&M's concept of adding fluid capacity through a heat-absorbing canister came about in the late 1960's when the Don Prudhomme and most of the Funny Car field utilized B&M Automatics and 10" race converters. That's right... Funny cars. Once again B&M reintroduced the Environment Control canister in the mid 1990's to help today's "Big Money" bracket racers tighten up their performance consistency by stabilizing transmission fluid temperature throughout the hot lapping of an 11 round race. New for 2004 B&M has raised the consistency bar again. The all-new B&M Transmission Fluid Consistency System brings the key performance benefits that every serious racer demands. The new TFC System incorporates R.H.D. Technology (radial heat dissipation), which provides an additional 492 square inches of surface area, displacing heat faster between rounds, insuring your next run is the same as the last. The new system also gives you the benefit of under-mount inlet and outlet ports, allowing for cleaner installation and no fitting interference at the tires. The canister also comes machined with a top filler port for quick filling of transmission fluid and a temperature port on the bottom that's compatible with all common Autometer fittings. The canister also gives you the benefit of angle-adjust installation, giving you the ability properly mount your system for perfect flow and performance.
