    3511 is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Quality I bought these headers because the old no-name shorties on my '94 F-150 351 rusted through. These BBK shortie headers are really good value. The quality is way better then I expected. Thick flanges, decent tubing, minimal installation effort. Only things worth noting: - Ford headers like these put the bolts extremely close to the primaries. I recommend stainless Allen head screws as opposed to the supplied standard steel hex screws. - The collector flanges on my headers were warped from the factory welds. No biggie, just required persuasion after the studs were installed. If your down pipe flange has slightly oversized bolt clearance holes this won't be an issue. - There was a bit of weld spatter inside the primaries where they welded the head flange. I opted to grind that away with a die grinder and a small flap wheel. (probably unnecessary, but I wanted to make a smooth transition.) - I mated these headers to magnaflow P/N 642-93312 which I also recommend. The pipes on the magnaflow downpipe needed to be bent a little closer together (about 1" or so) which was easily achieved with a jack handle for proper leverage. - I'm sure the supplied MLS gaskets are OK, but I opted to use some thick dead soft aluminum ones that are supposedly reusable. No leaks detected after running.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from EGR tube issue All in all these are nice headers. The only issue I ran into during the install was a quality issue with the tube for the EGR pipe connection I had prepurchased a new tube and connector due to it being unlikely the 25 year old tube would be removed in usable condition. So, when the time came to install the connector there were little to no threads in the header side due to excessive chrome material and a poor initial threading. I had to purchase a 3/4"-14NPT tap and a double threaded brass connector at the hardware store. This all worked out well and they sound great. I don't feel any real power gain bit all in all a nice upgrade. Time to install= up to 8 hrs. $20. In additional hardware.
