TA013R - BMR Suspension GM Torque Arms is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent addition I purchased this around the first part of October 2020 for my 1995 Z28 Camaro Convertible. I was immediately impressed with how solid it is. I expect it to make a big improvement to my drag strip runs. I have Pacesetter LTs and a Borla 3" exhaust so I was concerned this would fit but it went in perfectly. It gives good clearance under my car. It bolted right up and installed fairly easily. I primarily bought it because I have lowered my car and this adjustable torque arm lets me adjust the pinion angle. The instructions include how to set the angle. I did have two issues. The vertical piece to which the torque arm mounts stretches up into the driveshaft tunnel of the car and it is tall enough to contact the floor pan. I needed to shift the mount to the passenger side a bit to make sure it didn't touch. Doing that, however, brought the mounting pedestal for the drive shaft loop (an option I didn't purchase) into contact with the exhaust pipe. My solution was to cut off the pedestal as I don't need the driveshaft loop or ever plan to install it. (Attached picture is shown with the pedestal intact) There is another adjustable torque arm by BMR that is listed as being for long tube headers. I purchased it first but it did not fit my application so I returned it and purchased this arm listed for stock exhaust. To repeat I experienced no trouble with installing it in regards to my long tube headers and I only had the one issue previously described. Using this adjustable torque arm that mounts to the body of the car not the transmission is a feature I'm very glad to have. I'm hoping it will help make engine/transmission removal a bit easier the next time I have to do it because I won't have to deal with unbolting the torque arm from the transmission.
