Rated 1 out of 5 by from Read this review and save your money!! I’m reluctant to write such a negative review but I would feel guilty if someone else spent their hard earned money on this but unfortunately I was advised by customer service this was the best bet for my application so I bought this kit for $1,199.99. The radiator is great, easily installed, looks beautiful and it can be bought by itself for $329.99. That being said for $870.00 you get the fan, brackets, relay/wiring harness, and billet overflow reservoir and this is where the problem starts. The fan is all plastic and weak. The brackets to mount the fan are an absolute joke, they’re nothing more then aluminum hooks that hang the fan off your radiator. They do not secure the fan at all, it rattles around and is loose and very ugly. Due to the fan brackets being so cheap I had an issue with the fan binding while driving resulting in an overload and a the fuse blowing. After trying to adjust the brackets modify them, testing, tweaking, etc etc no improvement. At this point I did my own research and found you can buy a Derale two speed fan, and controller (from Jegs) for $330.00 which with the cost of just the radiator leaves a net of $540.00 with the only item missing being the overflow reservoir (this isn’t a $540.00 item). I ended up buying a universal fit aluminum shroud off eBay for $65.00 and it 100% solved the problem and made the install look clean as it should. This kit is an absolute waste of money, it doesn’t give you a high quality overall product as you’d expect for the cost for your classic car. Do your due diligence and buy the radiator alone and either keep your mechanical fan or buy a separate controller, electric fan, and fan shroud.
