Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works GREAT but they are pricey I bought another set of these lifts and it would not hold the cowl hood up. Found this on Jeg's made specifically for a heavy duty application (cowl hood). They are beautiful in addition to being functional.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I purchase the Billet aluminum hood hinges and Hood actuators. The hood hinges look great. And so do the actuators. Unfortunately did not receive the mounting hardware for the actuators. Working with Jags now to see if I can get them

What is the force output and stroke length of these gas cylinders?

    Asked by: classicvettenut
These are only designed to fit the Billet Specialties hinges and do not have a rating or length. Here is the description they provide. These springs are calibrated for stock type steel hoods with factory trim and emblems.
