Would 1-5/8" Shorty headers be recommended for this engine ?

    Asked by: Bird68
1 5/8" inch primary would be an excellent header to use on this engine, and if shorty's work best for your application please use that setup.

Will this engine drop right in a 1984 mustang 5.0l LX. If so is there anything you would recommend to add to this package ?

    Asked by: Bird68
This engine is a 302 based engine and it would be a great upgrade for your Mustang. This engine will come complete with an intake, carburetor and distributor already installed and ready to go.
