Will the 396 use a 2000 rpm holeshot converter?

    Asked by: Jjimmy
Hello, you must use a torque converter with 2000 - 2400 rpm specs. For your specific application, you will need to talk to the converter manufacturer and they may ask for the cam specs for the engine, which you can see under the engine description.

Are you able to put a supercharger on this engine?

    Asked by: Jackz
Hello Jackz, Thank you for contacting BluePrint Engines, we would be more than happy to assist you. The BP3961CTC was not designed for any superchargers. The internals are not designed for the stress from the boost. I advise not to add a turbo as it would void your warranty. Please proceed at your own risk as BluePrint Engines does NOT advise running any power adders or superchargers on this engine. If you have any other questions, feel free to reach out to us. Thank you
