    08-300-8 is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome camshaft I was doing a complete rebuild on my 96 5.7, so I opted for some upgrades. This camshaft was one of them. I wanted to stay within the ranges of the ability to control it by the computer, and still have the performance. When I finished the build and set the engine, two revolutions and she fired. Purred like a kitten. On the test drive, unreal response, and gets better everyday. I would buy again.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It’s a good cam I bought this cam looking to get some choppiness to it at least a little. But it didn’t really do it. But horsepower wise it woke that engine up I was impressed on that part

Does this cam require a special distributor gear?

    Asked by: mdr1
If you are replacing a hydraulic roller cam then you can use the same distributor gear.

Can I run this in my stock 350 tbi

    Asked by: Calebwa
You would need a custom chip burned for that particular cam to work properly, and it is a replacement for a factory roller cam whereas your '87-'95 TBI engine still uses a hydraulic flat tappet setup. We would recommend 249-CL12-249-4.
