The V-Plus Volt Booster is designed to incresase your entire electrical system voltage approximately 2.2 volts above and beyond factory voltage. This unit is activated when you reach 70% throttle. This is when your whole vehicle's electrical system is under the most amount of load. The result of the increased voltage is hotter spark, incresed fuel pump flow, etc.
Your charging system is designed to maintain normal battery voltage under ''normal'' conditions. However, when you modify your ride with upgraded injectors, fuel pump, and ignition systems, you need more power. The top of the engine RPM scale is where it's needed most. The VPlus is designed to ''plug-and-play'' into your GM vehicle and provide around 2 extra volts to the electrical system at wide-open-throttle. This gives your engine more power for a hotter, more efficient spark in your ignition system. It also keeps the fuel pump at its peak performance level to maintain proper fuel pressure and volume.
Note: Drive-by-wire applications not available. Can be used in conjunction with the fuel pump wiring upgrade kits.
