Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good so far, with one important caveat... I bought this radiator over a month ago and so far very pleased. box showed undamaged and rad inside was in great shape! However when I was going over the box I noticed a sticker that should have been mentioned by JEGS as they advertised this radiator. The sticker on the box stated to use on "Green" Ethylene Glycol ONLY. When using their radiator. I contacted Champion and they confirmed that they suggest the green stuff when I told them that my 2000 Tahoe uses Dex-Cool coolant. I decided to keep the rad and risk it rather then returning it because I just did not want to go through the hassle of returning it. I know I am assuming the risks and I got no issue with that if this voids my radiator warranty. However you might want to place a note that the manufacture suggest a certain type of coolant before purchasing? Personally I don't think anything crazy will happen but an "FYI" might help those who don't use the "green" stuff. Other than that this is a great and well built radiator and sure been keeping my Tahoe's temperature down in the hot AZ heat!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TBD So far so good, ordered Sunday evening, received Wednesday before lunch, same price or less than plastic, very very pleased so far, came with correct fittings, looks amazing, feels solid not cheap, thankfully it does come with petcock, which GM deleted, but glad I did remove it just to look, as to much teflon tape was put on threads and sealing surface was clogged valve wouldnt operate, no biggie tho just cleaned and re taped correctly, install was flawless, right up until the end, my 13 yukon xl 5.3 4x4 has 2 factory 16" electric cooling fans, and because the factory was a 1 row and this is a 3 row there was interference, had to cut/grind about 1/4 off the inner edge of upper and lower fan bracketry, just would have been nice to know ahead of time and how much and where, could left out the teflon to, but all is good for now, try to update in a month or so

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cools extremely well Installed in my 2005 suburban 5.3. If outside temp is 75 or less (early morning) my engine will not come up to temperature with this radiator even after driving for an hour and I eventually get a P0128 code. It seems to be very effective and I wonder if may now need something to reduce a bit of air through the grill especially when winter comes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 2004 Suburban 2500 4x4 6.0L I have a 2004 Suburban LT 2500 4x4 with tow option, engine oil cooler, etc. My factory radiator began a leak on the driver's side by the engine cooler line. I just big blocks started towing an RV a few months ago with this vehicle, and the 6.0L (LS truck engine) would get hot going up hills. This surprised me because I have other trucks etc with LS series and last generation big blocks that had other issues, but not cooling. Since the radiator needed replacing, why get a factory unit that will crack again. I bought the JEGS Champion CC2370 3-core aluminum radiator to improve cooling and eliminate the plastic cracking. No one reviewed the size issue, and felt why not try and see. The old radiator was removed and turns out to be 1" thick on the core. I really couldn't believe it. I've never had such a poor excuse for a radiator in my prior trucks or suburbans. The JEGS Champion was 2.5 inches think - 3 core. It fit perfect with plenty of room in front and towards the engine. The radiator came without one of the engine cooler line couplings, so I simply used one from the factory radiator. Small inconvenience. AND Yes- they were all loose. One prior review posted the factory hole reducer out of the radiator for the intake line. So I cut the plastic stem off the factory core to place it inline with the new radiator in the event that it needs further restriction (keeping the engine too cool). So far I think the larger opening is keeping the engine from reaching operating temperature. Its a 5 minute fix, but it has just been a few days and I can tell the engine will find all the cooling it needs. Great product. Great welds. And great replacement.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works too good! Read below This was an easy direct fit, but prior to installing check all the quick connect fittings, none of mine were tight, and started leaking immediately. Easy fix with a wrench. Now that weather is cooler, kept throwing coolant temp under threshold code, after a lot of investigation, found upper coolant pipe where the reservoir connects to the radiator, passenger side, should have a restrictor with a 5/32nds hole. Came wide open (unlike the factory radiator) so I created a metered orifice using a plastic plug, bingo! Problem solved!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Satisfied Radiator fits quite well, if you are using factory electric fans then you will need to cut some plastic off of the fans to get everything to fit. This is because of how much thicker this cooler is than the factory one. Seeing 20-30° cooler temps with a large stroker LS in the 100°+ summer months.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Junk. The radiators initially look good and fit well. BUT, they only last about a year before the welds on the tank crack and begin to leak. Im on my THIRD radiator, stock replacement for my H2. Champion radiators claim lifetime warranties, but when contacting them, they express to return it through whoever you buy it from. Jegs only returns after a set amount of days and wants to sell you their insurance now, so its basically a wash. I would not suggest for a daily driver.
