Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful piece, quality built, price Bitchin piece of ARTWORK! Can't say enough about Champion radiators.! The quality, the price, of course free shipping! After installing it my 1970 Chevrolet C20 long bed pickup runs 60% cooler! The all aluminum radiator is a winner I will definitely recommend it. The price beat out all the competitors selling the "all aluminum' radiator. Other websites selling plastic and aluminum radiators. not my gig. Keep in mind everyone! The radiator does not normally fit regarding height in a 1970 however I had CNC machined aluminum spacers fabricated approx 3 in tall underneath the hold Downs. It exactly clears the under ceiling of the Hood by 1/8 of an inch. The height add to the efficiency.! I had the CNC machine years ago I use the spacers on all my early model Chevy pickups. Duplicating them as needed. The radiator is the same height as my 1990 Suburban 1500. K^

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great buy, good Price and quality Bought this about a month ago, fitment was good it was a slightly looser in the saddles than the stock factory radiator, but overall a better buy than the radiators with plastic side tanks, only suggestion would be a slightly longer fill cap neck tube as the cap does hit the upper saddle mount

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Radiator Just installed this in a 1983 GMC C1500 that I'm restoring. The price on this product is very competitive with plastic tank radiators. Indeed, the plastic tank on my existing radiator ruptured which is why I went for an all aluminum one and glad I found this one for such a good price. It was a perfect fit, looks and performs great. The only reason I deducted one star was because of the overflow nipple. It's a 1/4 i.d." tubing x 1/16 npt aluminum fitting. The original equipment coolant reservoir on my truck requires 1/2" OD x 3/8" i.d. tubing. So I removed the aluminum fitting that came with the radiator and found that the threads were galled both on the fitting and the fill neck of the radiator which prevented me from using a 3/8 barb x 1/16 npt fitting. So I drilled and tapped the fill neck for 1/8 npt and used a 3/8 barb x 1/8 npt fitting which is much stronger and more commonly available at local hardware stores. Feedback to Champion Cooling Systems is to begin using 1/8 npt rather than 1/16 npt and supply both 1/4 barb x 1/8 npt and 3/8 barb x 1/8 npt fittings for the customer, who can then choose which one works best for their application. Or at least ask which fitting is required during the ordering process. By the way, Champion Cooling Systems was very helpful with my situation.
