Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great radiator great price Great radiator for a good price, plenty of cooling power. My truck is a 1991 f150 5.0 AOD. These have 1/4 NPT trans cooler fittings, and my truck already had adapters since some of these trucks came with 1/4 and some (like mine) came with 1/2 for the tow package. I did have some trouble getting the shroud over the center pin on the water pump pulley because the Radiator is so thick, but the fan and everything has plenty of clearance. Also there is no mounting hardware included, so save the rubber grommets and such from your old one. My old radiator trans cooler adapters worked with this one. so I didn't have to go buy anything additional. I'll give it 5 stars because it is a great deal, but the only things I would say could improve it are: -Include rubber grommets and mounting hardware -Include trans cooler fittings/adapters (these trucks really only had 2 options from the factory and autozone radiators come with 6 different fittings included in the box) -Stickers are always appreciated, I have a champion rad in my 1950 F1 too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Direct fit Installed in '96 F-250. Fit right in, needed a little extra rubber on lower mounts to fit tighter. Lots of room for stock fan & clutch. Fan shroud fit right back on, small gap down both sides. Should be no problem with twice the cooling rows as a stock unit. And no more plastic tanks !

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice Radiator, but does not fit 4.9l Engines This appears to be a very nice quality part; however, upon receipt I noticed that the configuration is not compatible with my 4.9l, even though it was listed as a match on the website. Jegs customer service was pretty helpful in helping get things sorted out. I called Champion Cooling Systems (who were very nice and helpful) and they explained to me that this part (1451) was only compatible with V8 engines. For 4.9l engines I should be looking for 1452 or 1454 radiators. Jegs customer service apologized and sent me a FedEx slip to help return the part I ordered and told me they'd be in touch after they contacted their vendors to see if they would be able to source the part I need. I haven't heard anything just yet, but if you're out there looking for an all aluminum radiator for a 4.9l, I have found that they are available on eBay. I'm hoping Jegs comes through for me and I can avoid eBay, but a quick search for "aluminum radiator 1452 or 1452" will help you find one.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Radiator! Keeps my 1994 Ford Bronco Cool I brought this about 2 months ago. The radiator is great however I wish it would have come with new fittings. I used all my old fittings on this new radiator and was happy that everything was just like stock except that it was significantly colder

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Champion Monster core 1986 f350 460 Radiator went into a 1986 f350 4x4 with original 460 motor. Installation was easy and straight forward, fit fine with stock fan and shroud. No leaks, stays cooler than stock rad. Appears well made and arrived without damage. Time will tell. If its still same in 5 years it would get 5 stars

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Quality craftsmanship, bad stock replacement 1997 Ford F250 HD, 7.5l manual. When I went to install the radiator the lower 2 radiator mounts are 1/4" smaller than stock. You will need to spend extra time wrapping the lower mounts with foam or rubber so the aluminum radiator does not rub and fail prematurely. The lower radiator hose needs to be cut 1/2" shorter on each end as to not kink the hose or cause rubbing. The stock fan shroud does not fit the radiator. There is 1/2" gaps in each side of the fan shroud once everything is bolted back up. I was disappointed that no hardware was provided with the radiator (just needed the 2 s-hook clips and 2 rubber grommets). The pressure rating for the radiator cap provided is a mystery, no stampings, no markings but your stock radiator cap will fit on the 4-core radiator.

This is a 4 row radiator. With the proper electric or mechanical fans it will cool both applications.
