Does the crankshaft come balance or will I have to get that done myself? Thank you

    Asked by: Addy186
    This kit comes balanced internally.

Are these pistons capable of withstanding a twin turbo set up at about 1200hp

    Asked by: Rc210
The block can handle that power, you would be right at the limit of the pistons HP rating.

I'm under the assumption that this is the same block and rotating assembly that is being used in the Chevrolet Performance LSX454 Crate Engine, p/n 809-19244033. Then why are they getting a much higher compression ratio of 11:1 with 70cc heads?

    Asked by: Aussie007
This piston is shown to have 11:1 with a 66cc head and a thin head gasket, These are approximate numbers. That is the piston that comes with this kit.

Hi, What is the compression ratio of the LSX454 kit using 72cc heads and .51in head gasket? Is the rotating assembly balanced? And, what would be the cost of freight to Townsville, Queensland, Australia, 4817? Thanks, John

    Asked by: Aussie007
This engine would be approximately 9:1 with a 72cc cylinder head. The rotating assembly is internally balanced. Please call us at 1-800-345-4545 to get a shipping quote.
