    Small Block Engine

This hydraulic roller design is used on the 383 truck and Ramjet 350. The duration at lash point in degrees (intake/exhaust) is 288/308; duration at .050" tappet lift (intake/exhaust) is 196/206 and maximum lift with 1.5:1 rocker ratio (intake/exhaust) is 431/451. Valve lash is zero/zero and lobe centerline is 109 degrees. Will work with installed springs on Ramjet 350, HT383 and Vortec L31 heads. Other applications may require springs to be upgraded, recommended springs are 809-10212811 or sprint kit 809-19154761.

This camshaft is a great upgrade for 1996-2000 Chevy/GMC trucks equipped with the L31 Vortec 350 Engine. This cam is great for additional bottom end torque. If installed in one of these trucks, a custom computer re-program is needed.

The camshaft is one of the most important factors in determining an engine's overall performance profile and capability. These precision-engineered, extensively-tested camshafts allow you to choose the best cam for your application. Available for popular GM small block, big block and LS-series engines. To avoid possible engine damage, a distributor with a melonized steel gear must be used with steel camshafts.

JEGS Easy Kits are designed by JEGS high performance racing professionals to help you get all the performance parts you need for your race car, hot rod or truck.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great cam upgrade This cam is a good fit for stock springs. Has good low to mid range power for pulling trailer or rv. Says you need computer reprogram but ran fine out of the box. Probably even better with reprogram we will see.
