I just purchased this timing chain for installation on my 99 LS1 5.7 engine. Is this chain suitable for the factory sprockets or is it only for the Cloyes complete timing set?

    Asked by: UserC3
Yes, this chain will work with the factory sprockets. It will fit tighter with the Cloyes center distance corrected sprockets, but is still a good upgrade over the stock chain with the OE sprockets.
