Would this work for a 2002 5.3 ls vortec motor

Asked by: Ezzythemechanic
No, you will need a kit for the LS series engine and it would use a roller lifter.

Will this work in my stock 5.7 vortec In my 96 chevy 1500

Asked by: Joshmartin426
No, the stock Vortec heads are limited to a max gross valve lift of .475". You would need to go slightly smaller on the cam size.

Do i need anything else thats not in this kit ?

Asked by: Marcos_avila2
Not knowing everything you have done to your motor we can not say for sure if other parts are needed. With a cam change you will want springs to match, you will need gaskets etc. Please give us a call 800-345-4545 where one of our Technical sales staff can assist you further.
