Designed specifically for drag racing by Dedenbear, the Cool Pump is the smallest, lightest, high volume electric pump out there. It outperforms all others, because Dedenbear's design does not copy OEM water pumps. The Cool Pump was engineered for the specific job of pumping water in a race car - with the types of engines, radiators and radiator placements used by drag racers. This entire pump weighs only 4 pounds, stands just 5 inches off the front of the block and draws only 3-1/2 amps (that is half the draw of conventional pump drives). The compact size and short height makes it ideal for dragsters and cars with minimal radiator clearance. The high speed, centrifugal impellar flows 26 GPM and works great with 16-volt systems. Dedenbear's premium quality, custom built motor features ball bearings, high temperature armature windings, and a stainless steel shaft. Our one piece aluminum casting, single gasket design, and custom shaft seal ensure leak free performance. The pump is designed to clear belt drive timing systems. A threaded, three-in-one water inlet accepts either 1-1/4'' or 1-3/4'' hose, or 1'' NPT fitting.
