Rated 5 out of 5 by from Notes for 2007 Grand Prix GXP Installation Received the product 2 days earlier than posted online - Thanks! Installed this with my son-in-law (Joe), took us two evenings. This was to resolve an issue where I had a leak in the low pressure return line for the power steering in my Grand Prix. The leak was in a section of pipe that we could not patch without dropping the whole engine cradle out the bottom of the car. We decided to install the cooler and abandon the old line completely - a much easier (and cheaper) solution. Problems - we first attempted to install the cooler in front of the car radiator as recommended in instructions. This involves completely removing the front clip and bottom plastic cover (air dam) from the front of the car (~2 hrs work). After removal we quickly found there is NO WAY the cooler will fit either in front of or behind the radiator. We searched for alternative locations, but there just is no room in an engine compartment with a transverse mount V8 engine packed inside! Additionally, there are no openings where the hose could be safely routed. Solution - we finally settled on a location just behind and above the engine on the firewall. This area still gets air circulation for the cooler, and it is (barely) enough space for a nice mount. A bonus for this location was that the 4 foot section of hose provided was enough to make all necessary connections (although that was very tight - we used every inch!). Overall - a great product that solved a potentially expensive repair issue for very little cost. (oh yeah - we also had to modify the plastic engine cover to clear the cooler in its location on the firewall - cut a small notch out. Still looks great, and works nicely to route air to the unit!)
