16795 - Derale PWM Fan Controllers is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 12.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Read the instruction great Product So I replaced a leaking fan and replaces the control unite Derale fan controller. The small ,small control screw under the rubber cap must be unscrewed up to 25 turns, but try 12 or 8 to get the fan to turn on. That's the part of instruction that I did not understand. Mine it at 22 turns out and kicks on @ 140 and only reacts top end or 195. You may want to to warm up more! But the small screw is the adjustment. Now I can run down the highway in my 1959 Apache 31 all day.! & not over heat!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fan relay This fan relay is an absolute need to have item for either door fans that require a lot of amperage or a single large fan as it has variable speed temperature control and also air condition wiring parameters

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great! Installed a new Radiator and used this for a 50 amp Derale dual fan setup on my Nissan Xterra. Works as stated, ramps fans up slow and proactively monitors temperature. Override works nice when running air conditioner or towing. With the old fan and radiator my Xterra would run hot at 100F, but with the PMW controller and dual fans I can not even get the gauge to move above normal temp even pushing up the steep mountain passes, great performance. Derale also offered fast and easy support when I had questions about advanced setup and configuration.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth every penny Perfect for an older vehicle with limited electrical system. Installed on a 1972 Ford F-100 with dual electric fan setup. Derale provides all the connectors and wiring you need to adequately and professionally get it installed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great fan controller I was looking for a fan controller and jegs came through it's awesome fan controller it maintains a nice steady speed on the fans which is that's what I was looking for it's not harsh on the electrical system it works great thanks again for having this product

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Derale 16795 fan controller Installed this controller and it is working fine. Wired it per instructions. One feature that I was concerned about but now like is that the controller is wired directly to battery and not tied to the ignition system. When you shut the car off and the fans are running they continue to run until the radiator water temp is lower. The PWM controlled fans are relly nice. The ramp the fans on at lower RPM then speed up as necessary. Bottom line is that fans are not roaring unless they really need to.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good product,,,, BUT............... This controller does not have an ignition enable signal which is absolutely ridiculous. It's an option that would add no cost to the product and allow people to shut the controller off when the vehicle shuts off like ever normal car in the world.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I purchased this control because the first Derale controller would not function as advertised. this PWM controller is operating just as advertised, I was not able to use the radiator probe because of the staggered tubes in my radiator since i was not using the transmission cooler in the return tank I used a 1/4 X 3/8 adapter screwed into the bottom bung then screwed the fitting for the thermostat in it filled the trans cooler with coolant plugged the top bung and tried it out. both fans come on at 50% speed when the coolant temp reaches the set (adjustable) temp. then increase speed until the the temp cools down. I have mine set to 170 on full speed 185 off at around 168. Also has an override function that is wired into the AC compressor circuit
