    DEC300A is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Much better than butterfly valves if they fit. This product is physically larger than the more common butterfly exhaust cutouts. This is a much more heavy duty setup and made of stainless steel. The operation is smooth and can easily survive a good backfire. Two previous version of the butterfly valves did not survive backfires and broke apart. This is a must if you use exhaust cutouts on a regular basis.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Doug's Cut Out's Excellent Product These cut out's are the only way to go, I have used the butterfly type that leak when closed. These seal completely, and are well built.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from They are big I’ve owned them for about 4 years, they always worked well, but they leak almost like rattle with cold start, and when hot they pop a lot on deceleration. I have them off now and it sound a lot better at normal driving and cold start. If these are the best I don’t know what i need to buy now.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from plastic gear well built and worked good for about 12 times, then the only plastic gear in it melted and that was end . how do engineers expect plastic to take exhaust heat? bad choice in material as all other gears are metal!
