Rated 5 out of 5 by from Did the job I was using this to quiet down the road noise in a 2019 Chevrolet equinox. There is not a lot of area to cover but I was limited on the thickness that I could use. I used a quarter inch thickness. Self-adhesive back worked well and it was easy to contour and cut. Even with the smaller thickness it reduced if not eliminated the road noise we were looking to remove.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dynamat Dynaliner 1/4" I used this product to re-insulate the roof of my C-4 Corvette when I replaced the factory headliner and its backing on the lift-off fiberglass top. Very easy to handle, trim and apply, which made the job a snap. I chose Dynaliner for its super light weight, which is vital to keeping the top a manageable weight. Insulating qualities seem excellent. Very satisfied.

Can you directly put it to the metal or do you have to put down Dynamat first?

Asked by: Dynamicdan
This can be attached to metal directly if desired.
