Rated 5 out of 5 by from I'll never go back to U clamps Look and work great. They don't crimp the pipe or muffler but seal tight

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Installed same on a boat that works on the Chesapeake Bay everyday. Even with the salt water, the product looks and performs as good now as when we put them on. Completely satisfied...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Clamp I am restoring a 1986 Ford T-bird Turbo coupe. I purchased the bolt in exhaust system for this car & it was required to clamp the pipe that flange bolted to the converter to the muffler, also the tail pipe to the muffler. I used 2 dynomax band clamps and they worked out awesomely. The old system had standard u-bolt muffler clamps and crimped the pipes to where they could not be separated, hand to use a saws all and cut it out. With the band clamps if needed for what unknow reason, one could unbolt the band clamp, give it a couple of pops with rubber mallet and remove the clamped item, it is not crimped as with a u-bolt clamp. Awesome product, I will use them again if I ever replace another exhaust component.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Work great one small issue Bought these so I could take the system apart if I needed too. They worked really great, no leaks, only issue was one of the threaded holes was not lined up so the bolt would not go into it correctly, like the metal of the clamp was crimped crooked. Would buy and use these again, quality material. Good price. A note about what the black substance inside the clamp is would have been nice, had to look it up online.

I have a 2" pipe that I need I connect with a 2-1/2 inch pipe will this work because it looks like it's two separate sizes

    Asked by: CKB1
These are made to fit a lap joint - one pipe inside of another. This is not an adapter, and it sounds like that is what you will need.
