Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very good product Sprays on evenly, allows fairly thick coat without runs. Hard-as-stone when dry, but prone to chips if it takes a good hit. Finish is excellent. I re-painted my gas tank (http://woodworkerb.com/home/datsun-240z-rebuild/240z-fuel-tank/) with this as well as just painting my half-shafts (http://woodworkerb.com/home/datsun-240z-rebuild/half-shaft-rebuild/).

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth the money spent I purchased this product because of reviews.used product as directed and very disappointed with it.after cleaning frame, wire brushing it and spot priming as needed .applied paint per instruction only to find that it doesn't adhere as stated.while bolting stuff back on frame the paint started flaking in areas and peels ..not worth the money spent..

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No where near as good - too many pitfalls applying First let me say that I consider most Eastwood products more commercial quality than say 'parts-store' paint. Also, I am very experienced in restorations with professional level of competence / ability. I know when painting anything - prep is the key to successful finish. I do all these things and still fail more often than not with this product. Main problem is this paint seems to contain significantly less solids than before, runs too easily and is too sensitive to temp and humidity to flash out properly. Paint (real) dry time is advertised @36 hours but is more like 48+ which is ridiculous because if you have to redo or sand out any blemishes takes several days to dry, then repaint and wait a 2-3 days more. I can't allocate that much time for something that should be so simple . I would rate it "no stars" but 'poor' is the lowest rating I could choose. After much research, I'm trying POR-15 Blackcoate / glossy spray paint. It seems to be the answer for what I need. I do have HVLP guns but I need a quality spray can glossy black for small pieces. I'll post my findings for that product.
