    Manufacturer's Part Number:

Underhood Paints are an ideal solution to adding the final touches to an engine compartment. Underhood Black is the correct shade with just the right 10% to 20% semi-gloss finish most car manufacturers use on inner fender walls, radiator supports, lug wrenches, underhood brackets, jack bases, and other parts. For exhaust manifolds or headers, use Factory Hi-Temp Coating that's rated up to 1200°.

10395Z - Eastwood Underhood Paints is rated 3.2 out of 5 by 16.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from buy it and use it i had some cans left over from a restoration i was doing. with owning 8 classic cars, i'm always working on something. i keep all my paints in a climate controlled environment. i had 2 cans of this pain, one never used and one half used. both cans clogged up on me right away. i even shook the cans for 15 to 20 minuets to make sure the paint was well mixed before i tried spraying. this stuff doesn't set well. it has a nice finish when it sprays but i wouldn't recommend keeping some on the shelf for future use.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from not cast iron color just painted the exhausted manifolds for my 351c -cj with the new hi-temp gray , comes out looking like navy battleship gray its far from the cast ion color it should be, don't buy it . been buying paint products from eastwood for several years always been pleased with the paints except for the last two products i used . the sliver factory wheel paint and this gray hi-temp .

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Rusting after one year Used this Hi Temp paint in the factory gray. Done exactly as directed; blasted the manifolds cleaned them etc etc. They looked great until I removed the truck from storage this spring. Rust has started to show through the paint. Expensive stuff to only last one year!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don't let the can top color fool you !! The Eastwood high temp cast iron color aerosol I purchased had a silver color top on it, which worried me. But, when I sprayed my manifold ( after a hot tank and sand blasting ), the color, AND the texture were perfect !. I don't know how they duplicated cast iron texture, it's amazing. I haven't installed the manifold on my 57 Nash Metropolitan yet, so I can't comment on the curing process, but, knowing Eastwood, I'm sure it will be fine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Product I am finding there are fewer and fewer products that live up to their expectations anymore. However, my experience with this paint has been outstanding. I've used this product on exhaust manifolds, both used and new, for years and they still look great years later. I've only used the brush on product and I follow the instructions explicitly. Great stuff.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not good for cast iron look This paint does not replicate the look of cast iron. It looks like gray paint I could buy anywhere. The only difference is this is Hi-Temp. I believed the description on the web site, my mistake.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from It looks looks primer I hope it lasts like they say, but it don't look like they say. It looks like I primed it and forgot to paint it. It needs a more metallic look, like the picture on the web site.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not the Cast Iron Color it used to be... The paint with the same UPC used to state that it was "Cast Iron Color" which was accurate. This paint, with the same UPC but different label, is simply gray. Can't comment on the Hi Temp quality of the new one - haven't tested that.
