Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty good I have used Sharkhide on my boat aluminum for several years. After polishing the surface I apply 2 coats letting dry in between coats. It does dull the surface a little. Kind of a satin coat. It would be better if it didn't do that. I usually re polish and re apply every year as the aluminum will slowly oxidize. It oxidizes after 1 to 2 uses without it. It is not the perfect product but is 100% better than leaving the surface bare. I don't know of anything that works better except possibly powder coating with clear. Then the part would have to be billet and not cast as cast will have air bubbles come out. Polished aluminum is tough to keep shiny.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from CHANGED MY PRODUCTS LOOKS Put this stuff on my polished billet wheels and engine parts-BIG MISTAKE. This stuff looks like a yellowed coat when applied and does not flow out smoothly. I threw the remainder away.
