Produces a natural 3-8% gloss. Carb Renew 2 comes in a 5 oz. aerosol, enough to cover about 2 square feet.

Since Carb Renew is translucent, IT'S VERY IMPORTANT to thoroughly clean the surface and bring the base metal to a uniform look. Carb Renew is an acrylic enamel and withstands up to 300 degrees F. Use in a well ventilated area and wear a respirator. Apply in very light coats to replicate original plating

    Manufacturer's Part Number:

Eastwood's Carb Renew 2 is even better than the original. The new formulation has better fuel resistance and durability, but still maintains that factory look. This easy to use aerosol spray will restore the OEM look found on just about any carburetor. Carb Renew 2 is a translucent acrylic enamel that is resistant to fuel and most chemical additives. While your carburetor is apart and all of the jets are removed, simply spray Carb Renew 2 on the thoroughly cleaned main body and exterior bowl cover. A quick and simple way to make that old carb look new again!

    12868Z - Eastwood Carb Renew 2 is rated 3.7 out of 5 by 6.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Carb Renew I and II I have been using this for a couple of years and am very happy with the results. This is a very unique paint as for the way it is applied. Spray as light a coat as possible, wait a minute and repeat. The thinner is goes on the better it looks. Oh, and wear a mask, this gives off very strong vapors. Great stuff, wish it was cheaper. ha ha!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It Works great I have used this before and it works great. The best thing you can do to the surface to be coated is to make sure it is clean and free of all contaminates. It covers well and looks great. I am please and will purchase more as needed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of money I bought this to paint a couple carburetors and a fuel petcock on my motorcycle. When the paint went on, it looked great. I showed it to several people and they all thought the 45 year old parts were brand new. I was really happy with the way they turned out. That being said, it has been about 3 months since I painted the parts. I took the carburetor off the motorcycle and looked at it for a second. Sure enough, the paint was peeling everywhere. This paint is by no means fuel resistant. A little bit of gas on the side of the carburetor and the paint wipes right off. I am very disappointed. I spent so much time cleaning, drying, and preparing the surface to get a good paint adhesion and this just wipes right off. I definitely do not recommend buying this unless you are fine with repainting 4 times per year. Hopefully my experience helps other people out and I will for sure be telling people about my situation and not to purchase the Eastwood Carb Renew II product. Luckily I got it on sale so I didn't waste a ton of money (but still ridiculously overpriced), but by reading this, hopefully you won't waste any money.
