Rated 4 out of 5 by from It works Bought this for resto project. Just make sure you scrap off any glue or sealer, because it will cake-up. Does the job and removes rust.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product Price is a bit high, otherwise a really good tool to remove remnants of old finish after stripping with chemical paint stripper. Will remove light surface rust, seems wear out a little sooner than I expected. Will not remove paint without clogging up quickly. Really more of a surface prep disc than a paint remover. I use these regularly and rely on them after chemical stripping old finish to prep the metal for primer or before using a metal etch product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product Works very well even on oil based paint for steel stair handrails. A little expesive like someone else said but it's a big time saver when stripping paint. Wears out a tad faster than if u were using it on a car but I wouldnt hesitate to use it again. Need to order some more to get the job done. Thats how well it works.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rust, paint removfr Bought 10 of these to start stripping a 75 year old coupe with original paint and a coat of protective primer with rust showing through. Used the first 10 on just the body.took another 10 for the rest of the car. They wear out fast but work great, took the whole car down to bare metal in about 25 hours.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Removed paint fast! But... Ordered 5 of these wheels to strip my bed to bare metal, wheels did a great job and stripped to bare metal quickly. Only issue is that they where out fast, only recommendation i have is to order a couple more than what you think you need, I used 5 of these wheels plus 4 from harbor freight.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from WORKS LIKE ADVERTISED Second time I have used this product and couldn't be happier with the outcome. Cleaned and prepped everything I threw at it with no problem and didn't distort the metal at all. Little bit pricey but does what it was designed to do.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Let it do the work. I bought several (10 I think) of these to completely strip a 1976 Ford Maverick 2 door that had full paint AND Rust Bullet sealer on the metal. I used a Harbor Freight 4 inch grinder and had to add 3 small strips of duct tape to each inner section of the wheel to ensure they would seat on the collet correctly without slipping - no biggie. Doesn't take a lot of pressure, and don't try to hold them at an acute angle or else you end up with the edges thinned out with a thick center section. A slight angle is all that is needed and you end up with even wear over the entire disc. You can use the disc clean down to the plastic mount it is on, so don't be afraid to take it as far down as possible to get your money's worth. Very little heat on the metal unless you stay in one spot. Cuts very nicely, and just let it do the work. Don't go real fast, and yet you don't have to go real slow unless your surface it is cutting is pretty thick. In which case just slow down and let it work. If need be cut the top coat and then cut the bottom with a 2nd pass - works better & lasts longer than trying to do it all at once. Good product I think.
