Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy installation I purchased it a few weeks ago because I didn't know that my new holley 750 cfm carburetor wouldn't fit my quadra jet intake. As it says it fixed the problem, easy installation, and fit like a glove on my 454 big block Chevrolet engine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great quailty, Did not work with my '65 Buick Gran Sport original speadbore manifold. Heat crossover was the problem. Holes did not align properly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from works but not perfect this adapter bolted up to my 86 chevy truck manifold and the carb fit on without drilling anything.. only problem is the studs have fine thread on the top and the nuts in the kit did not thread on. also my throttle cable bracket is held on with one bolt until i can rig something up

Rated 4 out of 5 by from It worked.... Kind of. I bought the adapter plate to Mount a Edelbrock 1400 Carb on a 77 Chevy 350 Small block. The plate mounted perfectly, but we had to file the Carb since the front holes didn't match the adapter plate. The Edelbrock Tech hotline was pretty much useless besides agreeing that we had the correct parts. According to the DVD included with the Carb it should have dropped into place without modification. Our best guess is that the adapter plate was cut with one of the other 1400 series carb specs.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from quality bought this for my husband who knows what he is doing, but he said he had to drill-out one hole for the carb to line up properly

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Hardware Lower gasket did not fit well. Needed a little trimming to fit perfectly. 3 out of the 4 phillips screws used to mount the plate were way to tight and made out of to soft of aluminium which caused me to strip one of them. Went to ace hardware to get allen head screws to mount it.

Is the hole on the side of the adapter a vacuum port?

    Asked by: DILLON11493
These adapters have a 1/4” NPT hole in the back, which can be drilled if an additional vacuum source is needed. Holes must be drilled in each of the rear venturies to open the flow of vacuum to the port.
