Edelbrock 77539 - Edelbrock Pro-Port Raw & Semi-Finished Heads For Small Block Chevy

Edelbrock has designed a the perfect head for a professional cylinder head porter and engine builder. These heads are unported versions of Edelbrock's race-winning victor series CNC heads. The Pro-Port heads are cast right here in the USA at Edelbrock's state-of-the-art facility, they feature extra-thick walls to allow for custom CNC porting.
Manganese-Bronze valve guides and valve seats are available with certain heads (not installed, but included).

NOTE: These heads can not be used without professional head preparation.



HIP Process HIGH-TECH PROCESS DELIVERS STRONGER CASTINGS
Heads are available with a technique called Hot Isostatic Pressing (HIP). This aerospace process takes raw castings up to 900° F in a pressurized chamber (up to 30,000 psi) and compresses the casting. The results: an incredibly strong, super dense sand casting that has three times the fatigue life and nearly the consistency of billet aluminum.
