Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to read and install The thing I like the most about my Equus transmission temp gauge is how readable it is. It was easy to install once I built a rack for it and my other gauges.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome gauge for the money. I bought this gauge after I rebuilt my transmission because it would match my other Equus gauges (went in place of the volt gauge in the three gauge set). This gauge comes with a bung for the sending unit which is meant to go it the pan. I had a exhaust shop weld it in the side of the pan where it wouldn't interfere with any valve body components. From the research I did this is the best place for the sending unit because it reads temperature prior to the fluid entering the transmission pump. This placement is also much more reliable than other versions because it will not add a potential failure point like the kind that plumb in line with the cooler hoses. I did get a small leak from the threads on the sending unit, but that was probably my fault for over tightening. This is not an Autometer quality gauge, but they are very reliable and for the money they cant be beat.
