Ensure that your engine is sealed

If too much material is removed from either the intake manifold or cylinder heads during machining, excessive gaps can be created. Such gaps are not sealed by the intake manifold gasket, which can then cause port misalignment. To prevent this, Fel-Pro engineers developed gauges to check the angle between a pair of cylinder heads or the angle between the sides of an intake flange.
