The second generation Camaros and Firebirds are an iconic muscle car platform that responds to basic performance upgrades, especially a free flowing exhaust that improves the horsepower and torque generated by these great cars. Flowmaster's American Thunder dual exhaust system for 1970-1974 Camaros and Firebirds is now available in 409S stainless steel and backed by our limited lifetime warranty to the original purchaser. Featuring 2.5-inch mandrel bent tubing, the system includes header adapter pipes, H-pipe assembly and specially designed 50 series slim-line mufflers and is topped off by a pair of 2.5-inch tailpipes with brushed stainless tips that exit straight out the back under the rear valence in the original OEM configuration. All necessary parts and hardware are included for an great fitting, bolt up in the driveway installation. As with any American Thunder system, it produces an aggressive interior and exterior sound level dependent
on the level of engine modification.
