I see that a question was asked about this cam. Your answer back was that it would not be good for a daily driver. Why not? Your description says good idle. This is what I am looking for, good idle and response on takeoff.

    Asked by: Marvin Gentz
He stated it wouldn't be the best for a stock daily driver. Minor bolt ons and a new small torque converter would make it run great and still be easy on the street.

I was wondering if the e303 cam would working in a 1998 mercury mountaineer 5.0 motor with gt40p heads? I would be changing valve springs.

    Asked by: Hebo
E303 will fit a 98 5.0L, you will need computer tuning along with a stall converted. This would not be a suggested cam for a stock daily driver.
