would this engine fit and work in my 2002 Ford Focus SVT?

    Asked by: JooceBoks64
This is made to fit the Mustang, you will need all of the wiring and ECU's to control this engine.

If swapped into mid 80's mustang, how will the controller compensate for missing sensors? Do I need a custom ECU? Can I hook up the existing T5 tranny? I know people who tried this swap (ecoboost to Fox body) 3-4 years ago and lived a nightmare!

    Asked by: NYSteelhorse
This is not an easy swap, you will need to customize everything to make this work. You will need to use the controller for this engine.

Would this engine fit in a 1974 Ford Maverick? Would it bolt up to a C6 transmission?

    Asked by: CDugg
It will physically fit, but will require a lot of fabrication and modification to make it work properly. Iy will not bolt directly to a C6 transmission.
