GFT5022-2 - G-Force T5 Transmission Gears And Mainshaft Upgrade Kits is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great upgrade for higher power levels! I bought this for my 91 mustang t5 wc to match my G-Force gear set. This is great for those making power that doubles the factory limits. Also if running a .80 5th gear it is very tight pressing on the main shaft.

Is this input shaft a Foxbody length or a SN95 length??

Can I use this mainshaft in my GM WC T5, and if not what alternatives exist? I see the syncho gears sets are available but not the mainshaft. Can I run the gears only to get increased strength? The trans will need to handle 350-400ish hp.

Is this the upgraded shaft? It is required to use the gear set correct? Or is that the stock one “could” be used.. at any rate if I’m correct this is the shaft I need to handle the advertised numbers? Thank you for your time.

    Asked by: Wesser11
This is the recommended shaft to upgrade the transmission to withstand the numbers shown. It is not a "have" to do.

Roughly what HP could a T5 withstand if this mainshaft was installed without the gforce gearset?
