This seal is for Gen V & Gen VI 1991 and later engines. Use with valve spring cap 809-12550421. Technical Notes: The valve guide boss must be machined slightly to provide adequate seal to retainer clearance when using a high lift camshaft or when used on Mark IV engines. |
