    Hamburger's 3268 - Hamburger's Torque-Curve EFI Spacers

Like a two-part epoxy, an engine's air/fuel mixture needs to be a specific ratio in order to work properly. EFI systems constantly adjust this ratio to best suit driving and environmental conditions at any given moment. If an engine needs more air but the throttle body can't meet that need, overall performance suffers.

At part throttle, a negative pressure zone forms on the upper backside of the throttle blade. Because air always flows to a low pressure area, incoming air gets drawn to it like a vacuum. This low pressure condition creates turbulence, slowing the introduction of air into the intake manifold. Less available air means less available power.

Torque-Curve's unique port design affects airflow in the engine's throttle body by eliminating the low pressure area and accelerating the introduction of air into the intake manifold. Ultimately this improves engine performance and fuel efficiency. These spacers surpass all others in results and popularity.
