Harwood Industries announces the development of its new line of "Pro-Touring Series" hoods for many popular Chevy muscle cars: Designed to give classic Chevys a sleek Pro-Touring look, each hood has been specifically modeled to best fit the vehicle's factory lines and proportions by the Harwood Design Team. Harwood's new Pro-Touring hoods are available in two versions, a bolt-on version for direct replacement and a light weight lift-off version for racing applications. Harwood's Pro-Touring bolt-on hoods feature a fully finished underside and install with factory hinges and latches. Low-tension hood springs are included with Pro-Touring bolt-on hoods where applicable. The raised scoop portion of the hood provides approximately 2.5" of additional air cleaner clearance and included with the hood is a custom trim bezel for the scoop inlet. Air inlet comes closed from the factory but may be cut open for a functional ram air effect.
